Projects eligible for certification and financing by BECC and NADB include, but are not limited to the following environmental sectors:
Grant and loan funding is available for projects that improve human health, promote sustainable development, and contribute to enhance the quality of life in the border region.
Grants and technical services are available to finance studies needed to complete a comprehensive analysis of a project, as well as to support the long-term sustainability of a project.

By reaching out to another community, the project will increase the amount of emissions reductions achieved. An allied effort will also strengthen advocacy for a city-wide policy and make for a policy shaped more broadly to take into account conditions that may vary in different neighborhoods.
