Projects eligible for certification and financing by BECC and NADB include, but are not limited to the following environmental sectors:
Grant and loan funding is available for projects that improve human health, promote sustainable development, and contribute to enhance the quality of life in the border region.
Grants and technical services are available to finance studies needed to complete a comprehensive analysis of a project, as well as to support the long-term sustainability of a project.

The main objective of this project is to provide training to promotoras based on the “train-the-trainer” model on hazardous environmental exposures that may affect pregnant women and young children. The project will build the capacity of a network of community-based organizations by training their promotoras to recognize and avoid harmful environmental exposures.
