The project consists of the implementation of a comprehensive program to remove trash from the international drain; and other areas of Mexicali. It aims to promote collective clean ups that can be performed along with community education campaigns to prevent future illegal dumping. The objectives of the project are 3 basically: promote community awareness on waste management and illegal dumping. Second, implement community trash collection events and implement recycling initiatives and waste management between public and private partnerships.
