The purpose of this project is to strengthen emergency preparedness programs through an integrated all hazards project of exercises, standardized capacity building, as well as updating and expanding the sister cities plans.

Projects eligible for certification and financing by BECC and NADB include, but are not limited to the following environmental sectors:
Grant and loan funding is available for projects that improve human health, promote sustainable development, and contribute to enhance the quality of life in the border region.
Grants and technical services are available to finance studies needed to complete a comprehensive analysis of a project, as well as to support the long-term sustainability of a project.
