Projects eligible for certification and financing by BECC and NADB include, but are not limited to the following environmental sectors:
Grant and loan funding is available for projects that improve human health, promote sustainable development, and contribute to enhance the quality of life in the border region.
Grants and technical services are available to finance studies needed to complete a comprehensive analysis of a project, as well as to support the long-term sustainability of a project.

This project is a continuation of previously established environmental projects and programs focused on developing resources to address environmental issues at the border of New Mexico with Mexico.The project will continue these efforts and will consider the growth of the region’s communities while emphasizing their environmental priorities. Each activity or task in this project is a response to a priority identified by a community in the New Mexico-Chihuahua border region.
