Projects eligible for certification and financing by BECC and NADB include, but are not limited to the following environmental sectors:

The project will include a training workshop and a series of three household hazardous collection events to be held in Brownsville, McAllen and a third site in the mid-valley. The workshop will be open to the public but primarly on training municipal staff to educate on the proper handling of common household hazardous wastes including pesticides. The project meets the objectives of Goal 3: Reduce Land Contamination.
