Projects eligible for certification and financing by BECC and NADB include, but are not limited to the following environmental sectors:
Grant and loan funding is available for projects that improve human health, promote sustainable development, and contribute to enhance the quality of life in the border region.
Grants and technical services are available to finance studies needed to complete a comprehensive analysis of a project, as well as to support the long-term sustainability of a project.

The U.S.-Mexico Border Philanthropy Partnership (BPP), in collaboration with the International Community Foundation, the San Diego Foundation, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Border Environment Cooperation Commission will partner to convene an environmental and public health conference on September 25-26, 2013 in San Diego, California.
