The project’s aim is to complement and enhance the accomplishments of a previously certified paving project known as “Paving and Air Quality Project for the State of Baja California” (PIPCA, acronym in Spanish), which the State of Baja California sponsored. It will supplement previous actions by increasing the amount of paved roadways within the city. The proposed project for certification will pave a total of 2,196,756 m2 of unpaved streets.
