The proposed project consists of constructing basic infrastructure for water and wastewater systems, storm drainage, street paving and other roadway improvements, as well as the acquisition of equipment and the installation of a centralized traffic system, in Hermosillo, Sonora. The purpose of the Project is to increase and improve access to basic water and wastewater services, reduce exposure to untreated wastewater discharges in urban areas, improve storm water management infrastructure, increase street paving coverage and improve roadway and traffic infrastructure to promote efficient urban mobility.
