The proposed project consists of the design, construction and operation of a desalination facility with the capacity to produce 250 liters per second (lps) or 5.7 million gallons a day (mgd) located in the city of Ensenada, Baja California. The purpose of the Project is to increase access to sustainable drinking water service through the development of an additional water supply source, contributing to the preservation of groundwater resources and human health.
