The project consists of purchasing new equipment for domestic solid waste collection and transfer to the existing solid waste landfill. The project proposes to purchase an estimated thirty-six (36) solid waste rear-end loading collection vehicles, seven (7) front-end loading collection vehicles, and sixteen (16) flatbed dump trucks. However, the final quantity may vary according to market conditions, prices and other variables. The new vehicles will replace decommissioned collection trucks, which will allow for a better collection of municipal solid waste.
