The Village of Vinton has a deficient potable water system that provides water from wells and is managed by the private sector. The project would consist on the purchase of the existing infrastructure and installation and upgrading of water distribution system to comply with current standards. Phase I would benefit approximately 141 families and will be funded by USDA-RD; and Phase II would benefit approximately 179 families and will be funded by EPA.
