BECC certifies infrastructure projects that improve human health, promote sustainable development, and contribute to enhance the quality of life in the border region.
Projects eligible for certification and financing by BECC and NADB include, but are not limited to the following environmental sectors:
Grant and loan funding is available for projects that improve human health, promote sustainable development, and contribute to enhance the quality of life in the border region.
Grants and technical services are available to finance studies needed to complete a comprehensive analysis of a project, as well as to support the long-term sustainability of a project.
Browse all projects that BECC has certified or are currently under development, including technical assistance projects from the Border 2012 Program.
Check the status of recently submitted applications for project certification and technical assistance.
Defined as the area in the United States that is within 100 kilometers and the area in Mexico that is within 300 kilometers of the international boundary.
Developing and fostering collaborations and partnerships by facilitating involvement in capacity-building initiatives and working to identify potential project opportunities.
