The three landfill equipment projects sponsored by the respective municipal governments were certified by BECC in June 2016, and the grants are being provided by NADB through its Community Assistance Program (CAP). “We are improving the quality of life for 88,000 people with adequate disposal of solid waste in these three municipalities,” said Ms. Giner. “It has been a privilege to work with the communities and the State Government of Chihuahua to accomplish this important step for the environment of these communities.”
