Projects eligible for certification and financing by BECC and NADB include, but are not limited to the following environmental sectors:

The city has completed the design for two flood control detention basins with the purpose to control flooding for 25 year storms with a 6 hour duration. This project is only one of the many strategies being considered for flood control within this watershed. The construccion of this structures will diminished the peak flows from this sub-watersheds to the Nogales wash.
