Projects eligible for certification and financing by BECC and NADB include, but are not limited to the following environmental sectors:
Grant and loan funding is available for projects that improve human health, promote sustainable development, and contribute to enhance the quality of life in the border region.
Grants and technical services are available to finance studies needed to complete a comprehensive analysis of a project, as well as to support the long-term sustainability of a project.

The Big River Foundation will coordinate with selected ISD(s) in development of teacher lesson plans for children in K-12, target the most appropriate age groups for the pilot, and enhance student and teacher experiences by reconnecting the classroom to the Rio Grande/Rio Bravo.
