The City of Tombstone gets its water supply for two (2) wells and a series of springs. One of the two wells, Well No. 1 has an arsenic concentration that exceeds the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) requirements. The City was issued a Consent Order to bring the system into compliance.
