The project consists of clean energy generated by solar photovoltaic, thermal solar, and energy efficiency residential systems located within the County of San Diego, CA. The priority focus will be on implementing residential solar PV systems although thermal solar and energy efficiency system will be eligible. Under the Frontera FIRST (Financing Initiative for Renewable and Solar Technology) the municipalities within the County of San Diego will seek to increase the number of clean energy projects and as a result reduced green house gas emissions.
