Projects eligible for certification and financing by BECC and NADB include, but are not limited to the following environmental sectors:
Grant and loan funding is available for projects that improve human health, promote sustainable development, and contribute to enhance the quality of life in the border region.
Grants and technical services are available to finance studies needed to complete a comprehensive analysis of a project, as well as to support the long-term sustainability of a project.

The Heber Public Utility District is proposing improvements to the District’s Water Treatment Plant as well as to the water distribution and wastewater collection systems. These improvements are aimed at addressing deficiencies noted by the regulatory agencies that permit this Utility District. The proposed expansion project is designed to accommodate the needs of the HPUD through the year 2010.
