The proposed project consists of the design, construction and operation of a desalination plant with a production capacity of 250 liters per second (lps) or 5.7 million gallons per day (mgd). The project includes an arrangement of six wells for seawater intake, a 7.4 kilometers (4.6 miles) seawater pipeline (, a 2.5 kilometers (1.55 miles) brine discharge pipeline, a 1.33 km (0.82 miles) desalinated water pipeline , a 2,000 cubic meters (70,629 cubic feet) master tank, a 10 km (6.2 miles) power line and two electric substations in San Quintín, Ensenada, Baja California (the “Project”).
