Projects eligible for certification and financing by BECC and NADB include, but are not limited to the following environmental sectors:

Grants and technical services are available to finance studies needed to complete a comprehensive analysis of a project, as well as to support the long-term sustainability of a project.

Wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation from a lagoon system to a facility meeting Niland current needs. Three alternatives exist: (1) upgrading Current WWTP, (2) converting to land application, (3) convey wastewater to Calipatria WWTP. Alternative analysis will determine the process. The WWTP effluent shall be capable of meeting permitted standards.
